San Saba Keystones

San Saba Keystones are exceptionally rare and powerful items from throughout the San Saba that can be acquired from the Post Office for the cost of ten (10) Brass Notes or Trade Notes.

  • san saba keystones on this list require master SOCIETY MEMBERSHIP in the appropiate faction to purchase and use.

  • Unless otherwise noted, a character may only purchase one San Saba Keystone per event. 

  • All San Saba Keystones are Single Use Local Plot Cards with a 3 Month Expiration and, unless otherwise noted, may ONLY be used at Appaloosa Trade Network events.

  • A Dock Workers’ Contract, Trade Voucher, or Copper Chit may be used to acquire additional items from this list provided the character has the appropriate Master Society Membership.

Master Society Membership Buy List

  • “Bodyguard Contract”

    • (Requires Master Society Membership: RRC)

    • Once per hour, you may expend a RESOLVE and pay up to four “bodyguards” 5 currency each to grant them [UPSURGE 20 ARMOR]. As long as these armor points remain, your “bodyguards” may spend 1 Mind point per flurry to deal 5 Damage with a single melee strike.

  • “Fountainhead Pulse”

    • (Requires Master Society Membership: Grave Council)

    • Once per hour, You may expend a RESOLVE to declare “PSIONIC BY MY VOICE - ALL UNDEAD STUN ONE MINUTE”.

  • “Captain’s Cunning Hat”

    • (Requires Master Society Membership: Junkerpunks)

    • You may expend a RESOLVE while brandishing a symbol of your crew to grant [UPSURGE: May use Psionic: Faithful abilities on characters with same Crew Tattoo as if they were members of your faith] to yourself or a crew mate.

  • “Voice of The People”

    • (Requires Master Society Membership: San Saba Republic)

    • Once per hour, You may expend a RESOLVE to declare “By My Voice - All Lineages, Heal 20”

  • “The Greater Good”

    • (Requires Master Society Membership: Widows Of The Lonestar)

    • Once per hour, You may expend a RESOLVE to raise your hand and declare “GREATER GOOD - AREA EFFECT, LINEAGES MAY NOT ATTACK”. Within 10 feet of you, [LINEAGE] characters may not take aggressive actions . This full engagement roleplay effect lasts for as long as the user does not move, and is able to keep their hand raised. 

  • “Warden’s Conspiracy”

    • (Requires Master Society Membership: Prudence Penitentiary)

    • Once per hour, You may expend a RESOLVE to raise your hand name a SOCIETY MEMBERSHIP faction, and declare “By My Voice - Psionic: COMPULSION: <society> MEMBERS DEFEND ME - 30 MINUTES”.You may not declare the same <society> more than once per event with this mechanic. 

  • “The Love of Community”

    • (Requires Master Society Membership: Lovelace Family)

    • You may expend a RESOLVE to declare “Line of Sight: Take Me Instead” against a deceased target with whom you share a Society Membership, that has not rotted away. Both you and your target will pass through a postmortem scene together, but only you will lose infection. This loss of infection cannot be prevented in any way.

  • “Arrest Warrant”

    • (Requires Master Society Membership: Law Dogs)

    • Note: When purchasing this LPC, name a [SUSPECT] to be written on the card. Purchase is a CVC action. Furthermore, you must post a player-created “WANTED” poster for the [SUSPECT] at the Public Works.

    • While you are in possession of this LPC, you may do the following:

      • Reduce the cost of Basic Malicious on the [SUSPECT] to one Mind point and one minute.

      • Once per minute, spend 5 Mind to declare a “Line of Sight - NAIL 1 MINUTE” against the [SUSPECT]

      • Expend 1 Resolve to declare “No Escape” in response to the [SUSPECT] declaring “Never Here”.

      • Reduce the cost of Mental Endurance against effects from the [SUSPECT] to one mind.
