San Saba Sundries

San Saba Sundries are commonly used items from throughout the San Saba that can be acquired from the Post Office for the cost of one (1) Brass Note or Trade Note.

• ANY character can use a Basic San Saba Sundry without needing a Society Membership.

• Items on this list require Basic Society Membership in a Dystopia Rising Texas faction to purchase and acquire, but they can also be obtained with CAPs or with certain items.

• Unless otherwise noted, a character may only purchase one San Saba Sundry per event. 

• All Lonestar Sundries are Single Use Local Plot Cards with a 3 Month Expiration and, unless otherwise noted, may ONLY be used at Appaloosa Trade Network events.

• A Dock Workers’ Contract, Trade Voucher, or Copper Chit may be used to acquire additional items from this list, without needing a Society Membership.

• “Company Money”

  • (single use. Requires Basic Society Membership: Railroad Conglomerate to purchase)

  • This item counts as 10 Currency when interacting with NPC MERCHANTS and other CASTED CHARACTERS at San Saba Trade Network events. This item cannot be used to purchase BUY-LIST items at the public works.

• “Mystagogue’s Draught”

  • (single use. Requires Basic Society Membership: Grave Council to purchase)

  • Spend one minute to consume this item. extend your hand out , palm open, and declare “SMELL OF THE GRAVE - Undead Don’t Attack Me”.  This effect persists as long as your hand remains extended, you use no skills, and take no aggressive actions. 

• “Boat Cleaner”

  • (single use. Requires Basic Society Membership: Junkerpunks to purchase)

  • Injectable Brew. May be used in bleed out - lose a Resolve, become Stabilized, gain a Fracture. Upon using this brew you become unconscious and unwakeable for  5 minutes, during which you are immune to damage and killing blows.

• “Ranger Report”

  • (single use. Requires Basic Society Membership: San Saba Republic to purchase)

  • Expend this item to grant [UPSURGE - Foraging + Salvaging times reduced to 5 minutes] to yourself and up to 3 others; these benefits do not stack with other time-reducing effects.

• “Fragile Teacup”

  • (single use. Requires Basic Society Membership: Widows of the Lonestar to purchase)

  • If you are struck while consuming a brew: you may expend this item, make a single melee strike against your attacker, and declare “TEA TIME - 20 DAMAGE” without interrupting brew consumption.

• “Eye of Judgment”

  • (single use. Requires Basic Society Membership: Prudence Penitentiary or law dogs to purchase)

  • After taking damage from a melee strike, you may expend this item, indicate your attacker, and declare “FEAR - 5 Minutes”.  

• “Waste Not”

  • (single use. Requires Basic Society Membership: Widows of the Lonestar)

  • Turn in this card when crafting a Culinary recipe to use PRODUCE and HERB that have expired within the last three months in the production of that recipe.

• “Dogrun Brew”

  • (single use. Requires Basic Society Membership: Law Dogs to purchase)

  • Spend one minute to consume this item to gain [UPSURGE: 20 BODY]. Using more than one Dogrun Brew per 12’s gives the user a Fracture for each additional brew consumed.
